When Valerie and her family were here for Thanksgiving, we fought the incessant battle with a rug between the kitchen and the living room area. She suggested an alternate idea--and VOILA!!! Here is it. Jeff got the special trim piece, stained and finished it, and today installed it in its new place. Here are views looking from both directions. Happy 2014 to All!
